Hi Rosie. I'm gald she's learning and improving. She sounds like she's becoming a little monkey in the house. They don't take long to negotiate stairs, or get on beds!! The sooner she loses her nerves around people the better it will be for her. Give the munchkin a hug for a us, and good luck! Keep us posted.

An update on Hope from her new home - she's settling in well around the house although still nervous on walks, but improving every day with lots more sniffing going on, generally fairly relaxed meeting other dogs, and getting slightly better with meeting people. She's very bright and inquisitive and seems to have a taste for biscuits (taken off the kitchen work surface), the froth on the top of a cappuccino, and "reading" magazines or newspapers! She is learning from the other 2 greys, Sean and Jack, how to go upstairs, get on the bed, but also useful things like "wait" before crossing the road and before taking her bedtime Dentastix. She's already captured the hearts of fellow dog walkers in the park and they're rooting for her and looking forward to seeing her develop. We're looking forward to it too!

Gave lots of cuddles to this girl today who thoroughly enjoyed being groomed and having lots of human contact.She is as bright as a button and seemed to enjoy watching all the blood donors coming in and out of kennels.

Thank you so much for taking the girls, Ruth. It was so lovely to see them both being so well cared for and loved, on their way to the loving forever homes. Until yesterday they were 'female blk/w age 2' etc. Getting to cuddle them made it all so real and worthwhile. xx

Hope is an angel. Even when she was sick she didn't make a fuss. She didn't make a sound al night & was clean. She loved you to make a fuss of her. She'll make a wonderful companion.xxx

Massive thanks to Ray and Val for looking after Hope after her spey yesterday. I gather she was quite sick last night but seems ok this morning. These little girls have been through a lot in the last few days.

I answered an appeal to take some girls and as our waiting list is so low I agreed to take two. Hope and Lizzie arrived in an awful state. Luckily we have the fabulous bathing unit and set to work on them straight away. They will soon be on the road to recovery xxxx
