Solihull Carnival

Saturday 12 Jun 2010

Updated: Tuesday 27 Apr

Shirley Round Table have invited Perry Barr RGT to this year's Solihull Carnival.  Come along to this traditional family fun day starting with a parade through Solihull Town Centre and into Tudor Grange Park. There will be lots of stalls and attractions as well refreshments and a funfair.

Starting at 11.45am from Malvern Hall car park, the procession will burst onto the High Street to entertain the waiting crowds. This year the procession will stop for longer in the High Street and have various entertainments lined up – from Belly Dancers to Morris Men.
It will be a wonderful event to see, so make sure you’re there in plenty of time.

As the procession passes, you can follow it down to the Carnival Ground in Tudor Grange Park to visit our beautiful greyhounds and enjoy the afternoon before visiting Bob Wilson’s funfair to enjoy the huge range of rides suitable for all ages.

If the procession is not for you, and you simply want to meet our greys and chat to our enthusiastic volunteers about what wonderful pets they make, then we will be at our stall in Tudor Grange park from 12.15pm 'til 5pm.

Our rehoming centre 'Daybreaks Kennels' are situated on the A45 near Birmingham Airport where a welcome awaits anyone who decides to go along to see the greyhounds available for rehoming. You will be under no obligation whatsoever.

As always, we are restricted to the number of greyhounds we can have at our roadshows and the pre-arranged greys that are here are covered by our insurance. Please may we ask you not to bring your own grey along if you are intending to visit us.
