Noise Phobia Class run by Julie Sadler at Immanual Hall Highters Heath B'ham
Saturday 02 Oct 2010

Does Your Dog Dread Fireworks? Is he terrified of the noise? Do you have to sedate him? Try the Tellington TTouch training method TTouch is simple, easy and effective training that improves your dog’s confidence and teaches your dog to think rather than just react so you teach him not to be so frightened
We will donate £5 for every booking through the RGT
You use the Tellington TTouch whenever your dog is scared and help it cope with stressful situations, many people report that their dogs no longer need sedation at firework time as you train them to relax.Rather than stroke your dog you ‘TTouch’ him or her, you activate the nervous system so you are training them to relax- and its great to be able to calm your dog when he is so terrified and -unlike stroking, doing TTouch is not reinforcing his fear so you are helping him not just sympathising.
We are running a number of TTouch afternoons in October so you can learn TTouch in time for Firework Night. We’ll teach you the basic ttouches, work with your dogs and also introduce you to the Bodywraps – great for nervous or noise sensitive dogs & especially useful at firework time .
Saturday 2nd October - Immanuel Hall,Highters Heath Lane,Birmingham,B14 4TB.
TTouch is also great for any dog lacking confidencAe, nervous or a loved old friend who you would like to help keep supAple, this Workshop could also help, please ring Julie to discuss.
Any queries or for a booking form please email Julie at

I'm really looking forward to this and am hoping upon hope that this will help Kev with his sheer terror of fireworks. We've tried everything (Herbal remedies, fireworks CDs, wrapping him up in our t-shirts, making dens for him, ignoring him, cuddling him and so on) so this is the last port of call before we get him tranquillisers from the vet, poor mite!
