Mell Square Street Collection and Awareness Roadshow
Saturday 02 Apr 2011
Updated: Wednesday 30 Mar
Here we are again in Mell Square Solihull, for our Greyhound Awareness Roadshow and Street Collection, from 9.00am until 4.00pm. We are always very popular here due to the fact that our rehoming centre Daybreaks Kennels are just a short drive away. Come and meet our delightful greys and our dedicated team of volunteers.
We will need plenty of volunteers with their grey's for this one as we have a licence for the whole of Solihull. Please e-mail Pam pamdewar@googlemail.com or tele 07714574527 if you would like to help out.
If you are thinking about adopting a greyhound there will be plenty of information available.
Our 'Daybreaks Kennels' of Solihull are about 5 minutes drive away by car. Pop along for a visit to see the greyhounds available for homing.
We pride ourselves for our after care service. We have a dedicated team of experienced volunteers who will be at the end of a phone for advice whilst your greyhound settles in to its new home.
for details telephone Pam 07714574527
We are restricted to the number of greyhounds we can have at our roadshows and the
pre- arranged greys who are here are covered by our insurance. Please can we ask you not to bring your own grey along if you are intending to visit us.
Many Thanks Pam
Our daybreaks Kennels have much involvement with Solihull's local community. We are one of Solihull College's top placement kennels for their students. Most week days during term time you will see up to three students at our centre. They work hard and enjoy their placements with us for 1 or 2 years.
We also have weekly visits from local care homes, where the patients with their carers come along for therapy with the greyhounds.
