It's not just a coffee morning!

On Sunday 25th September we are holding a special event at Daybreaks. I bid, and won a slave for the day whilst supporting Scooby Rescue http://www.scoobymedina.org/en/index.html Scooby do fantastic work, and in the hope to help them raise more funds, we are holding a 'it's not just a coffee morning' day at Daybreaks. All proceeds will be split between Perry Barr's Daybreaks Kennels and Scooby Rescue.
We will have coffee and cakes all day (not just the morning!) and hope you can come along and support us.
Helping me is my very own slave for the day..... you might want to come along to see just what he might be wearing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daybreaks is open all day from 10am til 4pm - please come and visit us :-)

Stevie Sunshine made up for the awful weather.The cakes were great.Joe our big black grey took a fancy to our lemon drizzle cake,glad to see £292.60 was raised well done to all the volunteers who help these wonderful dogs find forever homes.

I cannot say a big enough thank you to everyone who supported today, despite the awful awful weather. I am gutted that we had so few visitors but am massively grateful to those who turned up for their generosity as we raised £292.60 - half of which is going to Scooby Rescue and half to help the improvements at Daybreaks.
I am, as always, indebted to the volunteers who helped make this happen - for all their baking and giving their precious time. Thank you...... also thanks go to to my 'slave' who did a great job serving the refreshments :-)

Hi Heather, now we have the new run we feel we have loads more space so....... hounds x cake x humans = great fun (x possible disaster!!!!!!!) but hopefully lots of money raised :-)
