Talk by Tony Fennell

Wednesday 10 Apr 2013

by Wispa'sMum

Updated: Wednesday 10 Apr

Come along and hear about the amazing work of the 'Dog Listener' - Jan Fennell and learn how to understand your dog and its behaviour.  The talk is by Tony Fennell who is Jan's son and his work takes him worldwide due to the success of this communication technique.

Tickets are £8 each and are available from Daybreaks Kennels.  The talk will start at 7pm at the Birmingham Exiles Rubgy Club on Old Damson Lane (situated at the back of Daybreaks Kennels).

If you would like to order tickets over the phone, you can pay by credit card and we can post them out or you can send a cheque made payable to Perry Barr RGT to Daybreaks Kennels, 10 Coventry Road, Elmdon, Birmingham B26 3QS.  Please enclose an SAE for your tickets to be sent to you.

I went to see Jan Fennell the last time she did a talk here. I found it very interesting and helpful. Twiggy and I have used some of her techniques quite successfully. Well worth going to see Tony tonight; sadly I am unable to go but would really like to hear all about it tomorrow. xxx

If anyone has had problems with their dog, would like to understand and communicate more with their dog or are just interested in hearing about the work of 'The Dog Listener', then this talk is for you. Tony gives talks internationally and we are privileged to have him do a talk for Perry Barr RGT. The proceeds from the ticket sales will cover the room hire and the rest will go towards our vet bills - so please come along and support the night. Tickets are still available from the kennels and you can reserve and pay for a ticket by phone.

Wish I could come and perhaps get an insight into Fire's irrational dislike of our friend's Saluki.

Thanks Ruth, I will ring you to book tickets. Yes she is an angel, but a naughty one with other breeds. She likes sheep, cows & horses maybe we should just walk round and round a field? :)

Hi Ruth, is this worth trying with mad Silla? You know what she's like, is this something that might actually make a difference? Lol! thanks Liz x

This is the technique I have used with my greyhounds - especially my first greyhound Holly who was very aggressive with other breeds (large or small) to start with and within a short space of time was off the lead and unmuzzled, as well as a Pets as Therapy dog. It also helped with her separation anxiety and toileting issues. This talk is well worth coming to!
