What we do with your data
Currently the site records your personal email address, your name and communication preferences - we do not ask for, nor take, any other information. This email address will never, ever be sold to a third party. Registered email addresses will not be used for any purpose other than for providing you with information according to your expressed preferences and the direct running of the site. However, we do reserve the right to reveal your identity in the event of a serious complaint or legal action arising from a message posted by you. All comments posted on this site are moderated and will be declined in total if, in the sole opinion of the moderator, your comment may be construed as bringing or potentially bringing the good name of the Retired Greyhound Trust into disrepute.
Traditionally, we have always posted pictures of our rehomed greyhounds and their new owners on our website. If you would prefer that your picture was not used for this purpose, or would like an existing picture on the website removed, please contact the trust at the email address on the contact page.
When you log into the site, we add a cookie to your machine so that we can log you straight back in again on your next visit. This is industry-standard and nothing to worry about. The cookie only holds enough information to log you back in and is not used for any other purpose.
