Me & Star are going on holiday here in September now me feet are a bit better. We have timed it well so we can go to the 1000 greyhounds challenge on 8/9/13 so I get to meet some furiends old & new. Star is hoping for a bit of sand under her paws. Humans are hoping for dry weather but not too warm. Only 4 1/2 weeks to go! We is excited! Dad checking out the dog friendly pubs.

Has anyone stayed here yet? Considering it for 2 human pets & 2 greyhounds just wondered if it would be big enough. States bedroom/sitting room does this mean a sofa bed? Any comments greatly appreciated.

I grew up in Westward Ho! and used to ride my horse through Appledore. It's changed so so much since then, but it's still retained a certain charm and is a fabulous place to go and stay, especially with Greys.
It's also a very easy drive to get there if using the M5 and A361 Link Rd. Go it quick!!!!
The flat looks lovely!
(I was once in Instow and had a pic taken with the Palmtrees and water in the background. A snobby friend asked where I'd been on my hols when she saw the pic. 'Costa de Lappedore!' I told her.
'Oh that looks lovely!' she said ;-)

Appledore is a lovely place. We stayed across the water in Instow, in fact it was our first holiday with Gent. When the tide goes out on the estuary, it's a wonderful place for the dogs to run, although there are restrictions from April to end September. There were one or two Greys getting up to speed when we were there! Mand x
