Kingsbury Water Park Roadshow and Walk and Harborne Carnival Reports Sunday June 28th
29-Jun-2009
Kingsbury Water Park Report
Bob and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us today for our Kingsbury Walk, and hope they enjoyed their walk and refreshments.
We made £146.00 for raffle and food which was kindly donated by people who attended today. This will go towards helping more greys at Daybreaks. Look forward to seeing you all on our next Kingsbury Walk which be our Christmas Walk with "turkey rolls and mince pies." This will be on 20thDecember 2009. Seems a long way off at the momment, so enjoy the rest of the summer.
Gwenda, Bob Jason Karen and James and not forgetting "Millie"
Just a footnote. What fantastic refreshments Gwenda and her family put on. In keeping with the Wimbledon fortnight they even had strawberries and cream on scones! Well done to all.
P.S It was lovely to see greys we had homed from this event last year with their families.

Scorching Success
Harborne Carnival arrived, once again, a busy fun filled day.So we were delighted to go and show off our beautiful greys to the public. The day started off slow but by afternoon it soon hotted up, as the sun beamed and the public came to our RGT stand to find the dogs basking in the heat ready for some fuss.
As the event got underway, we sold our merchandise, raffle tickets and handed out leaflets to smiling faces. One highlight of the day, was some of the volunteers and their pets, proudly marched in the High St Parade. Overall £300 pound was raised which is a tremendous amount. Special thanks to our volunteers who worked tiredlessly throughout the day to make it a scorching success!
